Mark Klammer joined BGS Smartcard Systems AG in 2000. As VP Communications & Marketing he is responsible for Corporate & Product Communications, Event Management, Brand Management & Corporate Identity. Prior to joining BGS Smartcard Systems, he was PR Manager for a start-up company specializing in a broad range of Internet services. From 1998 to 1999 Mark Klammer was employed by Philips Austria in Vienna. He worked in the Merchandizing & Promotion department as Assistant to the Product Manager for PC Peripherals & PDAs. Prior to joining Philips, he worked as a freelancer for advertising agencies and publishing companies in various positions related to communications, marketing and sponsoring. Mark Klammer was born in 1972 in Vienna and received a Master in Philosophy from the Department for Communications and Media Science of the University of Vienna.
